About us. We're FTB! A group of people that specialise in making high quality modpacks and maps for Minecraft. We started out as a custom challenge map in Minecraft that made heavy use of multiple tech mods.
FTB Multiplayer Just like vanilla minecraft FTB is has multiplayer. Below are the two ways to setting up multiplayer to your FTB. LAN: Local Area Network is a very simple but useless way to play multiplayer. Your friends will only be able to connect their share your internet and your world is open, and it has very, very limited features.
Before playing Feed The Beast, you should do the following: Purchase Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC from the Microsoft Store. It is included with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Install Minecraft: Java Edition and launch it at least once to verify it runs successfully on your computer. Once you have Minecraft: Java Edition successfully running on its own you are …
For normal fishing with it, you can use rotten flesh/blood shards. For 'Bound Mode'. You need blood shards. Weak blood shards will catch up to 8 things at once, while a …
@Padfoote for his Beginner's Guide to Blood Magic, which gave me the inspiration to create this guide! Everyone who commented, liked or read this guide! And most importantly: ObsiLP, for creating such a brilliant mod!
How are you guys automatically filling your LP network?
I did, or at least I think I did as I'm getting the effects of all 3. Top master stone holds regen and feather knife, built and activated regen first then built and activated feather knife 2nd. Bottom just holds the well of suffering. How do I …
@keybounce That sounds about right for those tiers. Once you get higher up in the tiers there are ways to automate the entire process, such as the Well of Suffering that @Esheon mentioned, or the Ritual of the Feathered Knife. I know it sounds like a pain, but the more runes you have to add to the total gain from any sort of sace goes a long way.
I goofed around with the complex one a bit in 1.6. I find the easy one harder than the complex one.
Anyway, Pad has told me that he is glad it's no longer sticky. Santa is correct about this. This guide was the last thing making me check these forums daily even though I don't have time and have no desire to continue with MC, and haven't for …

And, there is no choice besides putting your own blood in. In order to use mobs, you have to go up to level 2 altar, make a dagger of sace, and then either turn your altar from a safe spot to the heart of a mob spawner, or have such a massive animal farm that the time for children to grow up isn't a major limit, neither of which is ...
That's odd. But at least the witches work for you. General question to everyone here: I'm thinking about including the information about witches in the main post. Should I do this, or leave it out for people to discover on their own? I'm currently leaning towards leaving it …
Still 0.7.2b, stock from the Monster Modpack.

This is just aimed to allow newer players to jump into BR and actually learn the mod, instead of being confused about all the technical detail. ... @Padfoote has a good beginner's guide to Blood Magic that ...
That's most of the differences in MF2-Blood Magic, mostly the same, just slower progression due to resource costs. Looking forward to trying out the Ritual of the F. Knife/Regen combo: Question - will it fit under a tier 4 altar, or do I need do build the shape of …
Blood Magic is a magic-based mod created by WayofTime and maintained by TehNut. It adds an expansive life-based magic system which spans rituals, saces, summoning, alchemy and spell creation. In Blood Magic, the player collects Life Essence by sacing their own health or the health of mobs to power their Blood Magic creations on their quest to become an …
@James_Grimm Thanks for the MF2 tips, I'll definitely be trying it out this week. As for the rituals fitting the altar, it should fit with a bit of careful planning if it fits with a T5, but I honestly can't remember if it does or not. But if it fits with a T5, it'll fit with a T4.
All I know about blood magic and digging is a giant ... actually, it only digs dirt/sand/etc, so it clears the surface off the ground. For a large chunk of life points. I mean, I can understand the bound pick for clearing a room-sized hole, but the shovel?
Blood Magic is a mod that is centered around the manipulation of blood, or life essence (LP). This life essence is used to fuel several things within the mod itself, ranging from your own …
I'm playing Blood Magic v1.1.0(1.7.10) and Demon Crystals are not in NEI and they're not dropping when I kill demons. I've tried multiple times with fallen angels and ice demons. I was able to kill my first elemental without them so it's not blocking my game. Just curious if the mechanic changed or if I have found a bug.
What you are experiencing is the Blood Altar's input and output buffer, where the output buffer is filling itself with 1k LP. The reason this is there is to limit the amount of LP you can pump out of an altar in a given amount of time, because early on with liquid piping support someone could easily make GIANT tanks of LP with no real ...
I like the "Watch Later" feature. It helps a lot. *returns to secret mutterings about apocalyptic juggernauts suddenly overrunning those puny technopunks*
This is a community-written guide. It was written to help players to get accustomed to Blood Magic in versions above Minecraft 1.8. Well, you can really get your first start as soon as you have some Redstone, Iron, Gold, Lapis Lazuli, and a couple of Diamonds. But delving deeper into the mod can get quite... expensive. One of the more significant new features is the Demonic …
Since this guide hasn't gotten an update in quite some time, I figured I'd update everyone so it doesn't seem like I gave up on this. I've been asked to add this to the wiki, as well as maintain the Blood Magic page over there. As a result, I've been spending a large amount of my free time getting it added to the wiki.

Feed The Beast. Mods. Mod Discussion ... And it's begun. I've started the transfer of this guide over to the wiki (a month late at that, but better late than never. ... 6,440-4 0. Apr 14, 2014 #315 probably a pretty stupid question, but for a beginner in blood magic I don't know if it's possible... the question is if it's possible to transfer ...
